Appendix 2

Firmware Upgrade

Datavideo usually releases new firmware containing new features or reported bug fixes from time to
time. Customers can either download the iCast 10NDI firmware as they wish or contact their local
dealer or reseller for assistance.

This section outlines the firmware upgrade process which should take approximately 10 minutes to
complete. The existing iCast 10NDI settings should persist through the firmware upgrade process,
which should not be interrupted once started as this could result in a non-responsive unit.

Successful firmware upgrade on iCast 10NDI requires:



iCast 10NDI x 1



12V Power adapter x 1



PC x 1



Latest firmware file

Update Procedure

1.

Download the latest firmware files from the official product page.

2.

Save the files on the PC.

3.

Open the web UI then select System



Firmware Update

4.

Click Browse to search for the latest firmware file saved on the PC’s hard disk then upload the
latest firmware file to iCast 10NDI.

5.

The iCast 10NDI will perform the firmware upgrade automatically and restart as soon as the
upgrade is complete.
