CR805 Retransfer Card Printer Installation and Administrator’s Guide
77
Plugin—Enable or disable the plugin feature for the printer to access an installed plug-in. This
setting does not apply to all printers.
RejectHopper—Place rejected cards in the reject hopper. If this setting is disabled, rejected
cards are placed in the output hopper.
Remake—Enable or disable card remakes. If Remake is set to Enabled and a print request
fails, the print request is tried again with a new card. A card is retried only once.
RemakeMethod—Select the card remake method. This setting does not display if Remake is
set to Disabled.
Select ConserveSupplies to reprint the card out of queue order.
Select PreserveOrder to reprint the card in queue order.
RetrieveDataTimeout—Specify the time period during which card data can be retrieved. You
can specify from 0 to 120 seconds. If the Current Value is 0, data is not retrieved.
SmartcardForceProtocol—The T parameter specifies the protocol that is used to
communicate with the smart card chip. T=0 specifies Asynchronous half-duplex byte
transmission; T=1 specifies a newer Asynchronous half-duplex block transmission protocol.
The smart card reader normally auto-detects which protocol to use. You can use this setting
to override the auto-detection. For example, if a smart card application changes protocols,
the smart card reader may continue to try to communicate using the previous protocol. You
can select from the following options:
Disabled: No override, the smart card reader auto-detects the protocol to use. This is the
default setting.
T0: Force the protocol to T=0.
T1: Force the protocol to T=1.
WebServer—Enable or disable access to Printer Manager (the web server). This setting can
be used to enable Printer Manager after it has been disabled.
WebServerSecure—Enable or disable access to Printer Manager (the web server) through
the secure port.
Caution: Do not disable WebServerSecure. If the web server is disabled, you
cannot launch Printer Manager and configuration changes cannot be made. To
reverse this action, you must contact Entrust Datacard. To restrict access for the
WebAdmin access level, select Printer Setting > Update Password and specify a
password.
