The device(s) described in this manual may only be used in mobile or stationary systems in which under
normal operating conditions the separation distance between the antenna(s) and all persons is at least 20
cm (8 in). The antenna(s) (internal or external) must further not be co-located or operated in conjunction
with any antenna or transmitter. Compliance of WS unit devices in all final product configurations is the
responsibility of the integrator.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with Part 15 of the FCC Rules with the limits for a
digital instrument of class B. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency
energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference
to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can
be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:

Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
•
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
•
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is
connected.
•
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio / TV technician for help.
Loss of FCC certification possible:
•
Only use antennas that are suitable for the frequency range used so that the device does not lose its
wireless qualification; only approved antennas may be used.
•
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the external antenna used does not remove the
wireless qualification.
•
Keep the end of the antenna away from metal components to avoid interference.
Modifications not expressly approved by the manufacturer could void the user's authority to operate the
equipment under FCC rules.
