System cleanup: Removes old log files and perform disk cleanup

Remove all configurations (not charts): Removes all configuration files, system log files and
logbook files to make a virgin system. Installed charts are not removed. (System will restart)

Reset to factory defaults: Removes all configuration files, installed charts, logbooks and
system logs. (System will restart)

Dump for support: Makes a “dump for support” to help external support.
8.2 Replacement of defective DPU
8.2.1 Replacement of defective DM700 Main Unit with intact SSD
With power off and the DC power disconnected from the DPU, open the service cover on the DPU.
Unplug the USB hardware key, remove the screw holding M.2 SATA SSD, and remove the SDD
by raising it to a 45-degree angle and pulling it lightly towards you. Open the service cover on the
new DPU and install the USB Hardware key in the USB port (USB1) and M.2 SATA SDD in the
M.2 SATA connector. Close the service cover, and reconnect DC power and turn on the system.

8.2.2 Replacement of defective DPU with defective SDD
With power off and the DC power disconnected from the DPU, install a DPU with a new M.2
SATA SSD and the original USB hardware key installed in the connectors under the service cover;
do not connect any cables to the Ethernet ports at this time. Reconnect DC power and turn on the
system. Restore the backup made from the failed ECDIS. Connect the cables to the Ethernet ports -
i.e. include the ECDIS in the cluster.
If no backup is available:
With power off and the DC power disconnected from the DPU, install a DPU with a new M.2
SATA SSD and the original USB hardware key installed in the connectors under the service cover;
do not connect any cables to the Ethernet ports at this time. Reconnect DC power and turn on the
system. Carry out the initial installation described in
section 5.2 “Initial configuration of the Master
ECDIS”. Connect the cables to the Ethernet ports - i.e. include the ECDIS in the cluster. Finalize
the installation as described in section 5.3 “Finalizing the configuration” and section 6
“Configuration of the ECDIS software”
