Slow speed
diagnostic light will come "on" whenever the slow button is pressed
on the remote. This assumes that remote is working and programmed properly.
The machine can be either in manual or remote mode for this test. Failure of this
light to come "on" during this test could be a symptom of either a bad remote or
damaged receiver

Fast speed
diagnostic light will come "on" whenever the fast button is pressed
on the remote. This assumes that remote is working and programmed properly.
The machine can be either in manual or remote mode for this test. Failure of this
light to come "on" during this test could be a symptom of either a bad remote or
damaged receiver

Possible remote problems
Battery dead - Does the remote indicator light come on when any
button is pushed?
Water intrusion - Bad PCB
Broken wire to battery
Damaged switch.
Possible receiver problems
Antenna missing, one or both
Receiver not programmed to match transmitter
Damaged receiver or motherboard
Wire disconnected
f)
Drive command
diagnostic light will tell you that the Curtis motor control box is
getting a signal to cause the machine to move. There are four signals that cause
this to be lighted. Note: it takes at least a 0.4-volt signal level to activate the
Curtis motor control box. That is the threshold level for these lights.
1) Throttle grip twisted in forward
2) Throttle grip twisted in reverse
3) Low speed remote button pushed (in remote mode)
4) High speed remote button pushed (in remote mode)
If this light comes on in any of the above four conditions, but the machine does
not operate, review the mechanical and electrical functions of the motor control
box or the motor.
If this light does not come on, review the junction box functions.
g)
Low battery
diagnostic light. Whenever the battery pack (three 12-volt batteries
in series) drains down to 27 volts, this light comes "on." It is time for a recharge
or to find a reason the charger is not working.
h)
Hour meter
records the length of time the machine drive command is on.
