14 ActiveX Application

The ActiveX application is a utility which allows you to control the Lyra from a remote area. The application
is a graphical user interface which displays a combination of the 2 control-surfaces. You have exactly the
same options as 2 control surfaces together.

Figure 43:The ActiveX application

In the picture above you can see an overview of all the module-settings from both of the control-
surfaces together. The application works parallel with the control-surfaces. All the settings made
through software or control-surface affect the other real-time.

To set the potmeter just left-click your mouse on it and hold your left button. Now move the mouse in
the direction in which you want to move the potmeter. To reset the potmeters or fader to 0 dB position
just double-click on it.

All the functionalities of the application are also programmable into scripts. This is very helpful for
example to program multiple presets side by side. You need to have some knowledge about using the
mixing console and about programming and/or scripting (e.g. Visual Basic).

You can find all the script-functions with explanation in the appendix and on the CDROM.
