11.11 Chipcard Settings

You can use this menu to program or reprogram chip-cards. When creating a user on the chip-card you
must make sure that the user is also in the database. If not the user will be identified as 'Unknown'. In this
case you will have no privileges on the control-surface.
If you have a second control surface you can choose which modules chip card overrules the other.
If you have a combined 8-fader console you have to mark the setting "Control surface 2 chip card
determines user level for control surface 1" for correct chip card functionality.
To program a chip-card simply type the username (max 32 characters) in the 'Chip card name' field. Type
a password in the 'Chip card password' field (max 16 characters) and re-type the password in the 'Retype
password' field (max 16 characters). Now press 'Write to Chip-card' and the data will be written to the chip-
card.
To erase the chip-card simply blank out the username field and the password fields and rewrite the chip-
card again.
