2. Safety instructions
!
The installation must only be carried out by qualified and
trained technicians.
The centralised power unit must be used for the purpose for which has been designed and
only in perfect condition and undamaged.
The Spanish safety and hazard prevention indications must, be followed at all times during
installation and operation of this centralised power unit.
Always disconnect the from power supply (mains and battery) whenever work must be
carried out on the centralised power unit, particularly when components are replaced. . See
7.1 Switching off the LPS centralised power unit for further details.

Electronic components (e.g. LEDs) are sensitive to electrostatic
discharge (ESD) and can be destroyed by touching their terminals.
Caution: take the ESD measures during assembly.
2.1. Operating instructions

Always read the instructions for mounting and start-up before
installing the system. These instructions contain important
information about safety, use and maintenance, and protect the
installer and prevent damage to the system.
2.2. Repairs
Any repairs that require opening the centralised power unit must only be carried out by
authorised DAISALUX personnel.
3. Transport and storage
3.1. Review on delivery
Caution: carefully examine the centralised power unit at the reception point to ensure
that transport was correct and there is no external damage.
3.2. Storage
Prior to installation please note the following storage indications for the centralised power
unit:
• Do not store outdoors.
• Store in a dry, dust-free place.
• Batteries should not be stored for more than three months without being charged.
If they will not be connected over a long period of time, the battery circuit
must be disconnected by removing the battery fuse.
• Charge the batteries for at least 24 hours before performing any operating test.
