1. General information
1.1. Explanation of the notes

This symbol highlights the importance of mounting and operation
information and also concerns safety. Failure to follow instructions may
result in injury or damage to the centralised power unit.

1.2. Liability and warranty
DAISALUX accepts no liability:
• If the centralised power unit is not used for the purpose for which it was designed.
• If the instructions for safety operations are not followed.
• The use of unauthorised or inappropriate components in conjunction with the
emergency lighting system.
• Incorrect installation.
1.3. Parts
Defective components may only be replaced by original DAISALUX parts. Safety
requirements cannot be guaranteed parts other than those mentioned are used. No
warranty, service or liability is admitted if improper parts are used.

The use of defective parts may result in malfunction or cause overall
system failure.
1.4. Disposition
The batteries and electronic components supplied must be managed according to the
applicable Spanish legislation and the regulations for the batteries and electronic
components employed.
1.5. Fault correction
Some faults associated with luminaires connected require a test to be
run in order to restore the fault indication. See
10. Troubleshooting for
further details.
