8. Tap
START
to begin self-cleaning. The
door locks automatically.
Important: Only the lower oven door
locks during self cleaning.
9. Tap
CANCEL
to pause or end a self-
cleaning cycle.
NOTE
•
Self-cleaning cannot begin if the control lockout feature is active or the oven is too hot.
•
The oven doors lock automatically. The display counts down the cleaning time. You
cannot open the oven doors until the temperature drops to a safe temperature.
•
The self-clean feature can be used in only one oven at a time. While one oven is in
self-cleaning mode, the other oven will not operate.
After a self-cleaning cycle
•
Wipe up any ash with a damp cloth after the oven cools. (Remove any white spots
with a soap-filled, steel-wool pad and rinse well with a vinegar-water mixture.)
•
If the oven is not clean after one cycle, repeat the cycle.
•
You cannot set the oven for cooking until the door unlocks.
GreenClean™
This function saves time and energy by removing residue that you can wipe away with a
damp cloth.
CAUTION
•
The oven door locks during Green cleaning. Do not force the door open or you may
damage the locking system. Open the oven door carefully after Green cleaning. Stand
to one side when opening the door so hot air or steam escape safely.
