Centering baking pans in the oven as much
as possible improves results. If baking with
multiple pans, arrange the pans with 1˝ to
1 1/2˝ of space all around.
When baking on one oven rack, place the
oven rack at level 3 or 4. (See left.)
For multi-rack baking of cake or cookies,
place the racks at levels 3 and 5.
