Use the stack light unit
Privileged
EXEC command to light LEDs on a specific unit.
Syntax
stack light unit unit-number [ duration seconds ]
stack light unit stop
Parameters
•
unit-number — Specify a unit number or all . (Range: 1– product specific)
•
seconds — The number of seconds to light the LEDs. (Range: 2–60 seconds)
•
stop — Stops lighting the LEDs.
Default Configuration
If unspecified, defaults to 5 seconds.

User Guidelines
Use this command to identify the unit number of each unit. If you run the command with all as the unit number, the
software would turn off all the ports’ LEDs in all the units, and then turn on at each unit the LED of the port with the
identical number as the unit number. If you run the command with a specific unit number, the software would turn
off all the ports’ LEDs in all the units, and then turn on at the specific unit the LED of the port with the identical
number as the unit number.
Example
The following example configures the stack light on unit 3 for duration 30 seconds.
