An Access List of IP addresses of SNMP managers that are permitted to use the community string to gain access
to the Switch’s SNMP agent.
An MIB view that defines the subset of all MIB objects that will be accessible to the SNMP community.
Read/write or read-only level permission for the MIB objects accessible to the SNMP community.

The following parameters can set:
Parameter
Description
Community Name
Type an alphanumeric string of up to 32 characters that is used to identify
members of an SNMP community. This string is used like a password to
give remote SNMP managers access to MIB objects in the Switch’s
SNMP agent.
View Name
Type an alphanumeric string of up to 32 characters that is used to identify
the group of MIB objects that a remote SNMP manager is allowed to
access on the Switch. The view name must exist in the SNMP View
Table.
Access Right
read_only

Specifies that SNMP community members using the
community string created with this command can only read the contents
of the MIBs on the Switch.
read_write
−
Specifies that SNMP community members using the
community string created with this command can read from and write to
the contents of the MIBs on the Switch.
SNMP Host Table
Use the
SNMP Host Table
to set up SNMP trap recipients.
Open the
Management
folder, and then the
SNMPV3
folder. Finally, click on the
SNMP Host Table
link.
This will open the
SNMP Host Table
page, as shown below.
To delete an existing
SNMP Host Table
entry, click the corresponding
icon under the
Delete
heading.
To display the current settings for an existing
SNMP Group Table
entry, click the blue link for the entry under
the
Host IP Address
heading.
