provides information for creating static ARP Binding Lists. ARP Binding Lists con-

tains the List Name, IP address and MAC address which are validated against ARP requests. To create an ARP

To select an Arp Inspection list to be displayed or deleted select the following categories:

ARP Inspection List Name

— Specifies the ARP Inspection List to interfaces or permits network managers

to define a new ARP Inspection List.

Select List

— Contains a list user-defined ARP Binding Lists.

–

New

— Defines a new ARP Binding List. ARP Binding List names can contain up to 32 characters.

•

Remove List

— Removes ARP Inspection lists from interfaces. The possible field values are:

–

Checked

— Removes the specific ARP Inspection List from the selected interface.

–

Unchecked

— Maintains the current ARP Inspection List assignments.

In addition to the fields above, the following fields appear in the Static ARP Inspection Table:

IP Address

— Specifies IP addresses included in ARP Binding Lists which are checked against ARP

requests.
