Viewing BSS Statistics

The

BSS Information Page

allows network managers to monitor Basic Service Set activity. To view BSS statistics:

Click

WLAN > Monitor > BSS

. The

BSS Information Page

opens:

BSS Information Page

contains the following fields:

•

BSS MAC

— Indicates the Basic Service Set for which the WLAN information is displayed.

•

Refresh Rate

— Defines the amount of time that passes before the statistics are refreshed. The possible

field values are:
–

15 Sec

—Indicates that the statistics are refreshed every 15 seconds.

–

30 Sec

—Indicates that the statistics are refreshed every 30 seconds.

–

60 Sec

—Indicates that the statistics are refreshed every 60 seconds.

–

No Refresh

—Indicates that the statistics are not refreshed.

•

Wtp MAC Address

— Displays the Wtp MAC address.

•

Radio Type

— Displays the WLAN radio type.

•

SSID

— Displays the SSID attached to the BSS.

•

Rx Frames

— Displays the number of packets with errors that were sent from the interface.

•

Tx Frames

— Displays the number of packets were with errors from the interface.

•

Stations

— Displays the number of stations attached to the BSS.

Select a station and refresh time, the station statistics are displayed.
