4 Web-based Switch Configuration

Multicast MAC Address

: Specify the multicast address.

Egress

: Click the Port Number for multicast traffic.

Configuration > Multicast Forwarding & Filtering > Multicast Filter Mode

The Multicast Filtering Mode page allows user to set up the filtering mode.

From Port / To Port:

Specify the ports of the VLAN on which the corresponding MAC address belongs to.

Multicast Filtering Mode:

This drop-down menu allows user to select the action the Switch will take when it

receives a multicast packet that is to be forwarded to one of the ports in the range specified above.

Forward Unregistered Groups -

This will instruct the Switch to forward a multicast packet whose

destination is an unregistered multicast group residing within the range of ports specified above.

Filter Unregistered Groups -

This will instruct the Switch to filter any multicast packets whose

destination is an unregistered multicast group residing within the range of ports specified above.

The IP Multicast Profile Settings page allows user to configure the IP Multicast Profile.
