VOICE VLAN COMMANDS
The voice vlan commands in the Command Line Interface (CLI) are listed (along with the appropriate
parameters) in the following table.

enable voice_vlan
Purpose
Enables the global Voice VLAN function.
Syntax
enable voice_vlan [ name <vlan_name 8> | vlanid <vlanid 1-4094>]
Description
To enable the Voice VLAN function on a switch, the Voice VLAN
must be assigned a name and there must be an existing static
802.1Q VLAN.
To change the Voice VLAN parameters, the user must disable the
Voice VLAN function and then re-issue the enable command.
Parameters
name <vlan_name 8>
- The name of the voice VLAN
vlanid <vlanid 1-4094>
- The VLAN ID of the voice VLAN.
Restrictions
Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
