config dst
Purpose
To configure time adjustments to allow for the use of Daylight Saving
Time (DST).
Syntax
config dst [disable | annual s_date <start_date 1-31> s_mth
<start_mth 1-12> s_time <start_time hh:mm> e_date <end_date
1-31> e_mth <end_mth 1-12> e_time <end_time hh:mm> offset
[30 | 60 | 90 | 120]]
Description
The
config dst
command disables or configures Daylight Saving
Time (DST). When enabled, this adjusts the system clock to comply
with any DST requirement. DST adjustment affects system time for
both manually configured time and time set using SNTP service.
Parameters
disable
– Disables the DST seasonal time adjustment for the Switch.
annual
– Enables DST seasonal time adjustment. The format for
annual is as follows, and in the order listed:

s_date <start_date 1-31>
- The day of the month to begin
DST, expressed numerically

s_mth <start_mth 1-12>
- The month of the year to begin
DST, expressed numerically.
•
s_time <start_time hh:mm>
- The time of day to begin DST
in hours and minutes, expressed using a 24-hour clock.

e_date <int 1-31>
- The day of the month to end DST,
expressed numerically

e_mth <end_mth 1-12>
- The month of the year to end DST,
expressed numerically.
•
e_time<end_time hh:mm>
- The time of day to end DST, in
hours and minutes, expressed using a 24-hour clock.
offset [30 | 60 | 90 | 120]
– Indicates the number of minutes to add
during the summertime. The possible offset times are 30, 60, 90,
and 120. The default value is 60.
Restrictions
Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
