Quick Steps for the Setup and Launch of Your

Wireless Network

Setting up and deploying one or more D-Link DWL-2210APs is in effect creating and
launching a

wireless network

. The KickStart Wizard (for DHCP-enabled networks) and

corresponding Basic Settings Administration Web page simplify this process. Here is a
step-by-step guide to setting up your D-Link DWL-2210APs and the resulting wireless
network. Have the CD-ROM handy, and familiarize yourself with the “PreLaunch
Checklist: Default Settings and Supported Administrator/Client Platforms” discussed
earlier in this manual. The topics covered here are:
