Replacement of fuses

Safety precautions

WARNING

Disconnect power. Always disconnect power from the instru-
ment before performing any maintenance task.

WARNING

If a fuse requires repeated replacement, do not continue to use the
instrument. Contact an authorized service engineer.

WARNING

For continued protection from fire hazard, replace only with same
type and rating of fuse.

Refer to 

Section 8.1 Specifications, on page 70

 for fuse specification.

Instructions

Follow the steps below to replace the fuses.

Step

Action

1

Disconnect the power cord from the instrument.

2

Lift out the fuse cover located below the power switch (see arrow).

3

Lift out the broken fuses.

4

Insert new fuses.

5

Replace the fuse cover on the instrument.
