Emergency procedures
Introduction
This section describes how to do an emergency shut down of Sterile Tube Fuser - Wet
instrument. The section also describes the result in the event of power failure.
Precautions
WARNING
Access to power switch and power cord with plug. Do not
block access to the power switch and power cord. The power switch
must always be easy to access. The power cord with plug must
always be easy to disconnect.
WARNING
In case of power failure and instrument reset, Sterile Tube Fuser -
Wet unlocks the cover lock.
•
Do not touch the blade for approximately one minute till it cools
down.
•
If there is liquid spillage due to poor weld or no weld, clean the
spillage using proper cleaning agent depending on the hazard
level of the process chemicals/biologicals being used and
continue with tube welding process.
Emergency shutdown of Sterile Tube
Fuser - Wet
In an emergency situation, follow the steps below to stop the run:

Press the power switch to the "
O" position to switch off the power.
The power switch is located at the rear of the instrument, see the following
illustration.

Disconnect the power cord from the power outlet.
