Removing/installing and adjusting the cutter deck
EN
Every 50 operating hours
Î
Dirt and grass remnants must be removed from
the drive gear by a service centre
.
Î
Have drive V-belts, blade shafts and tensioning
pulleys checked for wear and damage by a ser-
vice centre.
If required
Charge the battery:
Î
If you are not using the battery for lengthy periods,
remove the battery from the device.
Î
Charge up the battery every 6–8 weeks, as well
as before putting back into operation after storage.
Î
Check the battery voltage with a voltmeter. If the
voltage is less than 12.4 V DC, recharge the bat-
tery with a 12-volt battery charger.
• Lead-acid batteries:
Maximum charging current 4 amps
• AGM batteries:
Maximum charging current 1.1 amps
Note
If possible use a fully automatic battery
charger and follow the instructions in the
operating manual for your battery charger.
Replace fuses:
Î
Replace defective fuses only with ones of an
equal rating.
Hydraulic expansion vessel

The oil level should be at least between the
bottom of the container and the marking
[A]
.
Once a season
Î
Lubricate all rotating and bearing points (operating
lever, height adjustment of the cutter deck, etc.)
with several drops of light oil.
Î
Clean the spark plugs and set the electrode gap
or replace the spark plug (see engine manual).
Î
The rear axles must be lubricated with a special-
purpose, water-repellent grease by a service
centre.
Î
Have the cutter deck repaired only by a service
centre.
Note
Regularly check (during service centre visits)
the condition of the cutter deck V-belt.
