4.11 Manual Mode (Optional)

This function will be installed by default if manual mode has been optionally added upon

purchasing the CU-SP2.

To use the manual mode, you must set the device mode to Manual Mode. For further details on

setting the manual mode, please refer to [Section 5.4: Device Setup] in these Instructions for

Use.

When the device mode has been changed to manual mode,

'Manual Mode'

will be displayed on

the upper-left corner of the LCD Screen. Also, the Soft Keys will be activated as follows:

4.11.1 Changing the Energy Value

When in manual mode, the user can set the energy value for defibrillation. The range of the

output energy will change depending on Adult / Pediatric Mode. For further details on changing

the Adult / Pediatric Mode, please refer to [Section 5.4: Device Setup] in these Instructions for

Use.

Press Soft Key 1, which reads
