DHCP Server

Enable or disable the DHCP server function of the Residential Gateway.
Domain Name
－
Specify the domain name of the Residential Gateway in the text boxes.
Start IP Address
－
Specify an IP address from which the Residential Gateway will start
to assign the IP addresses to the DHCP clients on the private network.
Maximum Number of Users
－
Specify the maximum number of IP addresses which
the Residential Gateway can assign to the DHCP clients.
IP Address Range
－
A view-only field. It displays a range of contiguous IP addresses
which are determined by the
Start IP Address
field and the
Maximum Number of
Users
field. The IP addresses in this IP address range can be assigned by the
Residential Gateway to the DHCP clients on the private network.
Client Lease Time
－
This is a time period in which the DHCP clients can keep their IP
addresses since the last time in which they receive the DHCP acknowledgement packet
from the Residential Gateway.
