3.9.23.5 (config)# ipv6 mld ssm-range

Syntax:

(config)# ipv6 mld ssm-range <v_ipv6_mcast> <ipv6_prefix_length>

Parameters:

<v_ipv6_mcast>: Specify valid IPv6 mluticast address.

<ipv6_prefix_length>: Specify prefix length range from 8 to 128.

Explanation:

Specify SSM (Source-Specific Multicast) Range

.

This setting allows the SSM-aware hosts and routers run

the SSM service model for the groups in the address range.

Example:

Configure MLD SSM with the ff3e::7728/128 settings.

Example: Enable IPv6 MLD proxy.

Negation:

(config)# no ipv6 mld ssm-range
