SETTING THE ALARM TYPE, THE MAXIMUM HEART
RATE AND THE TRAINING ZONES
In heart rate mode, press the SEL
button until the training zones (upper
limit and lower limit) are displayed in
the top section ("ZONE")
Press and hold the SET button
The zone alarm symbol will flash
Select the required alarm type using the SEL button:
Alarm sounds only when exceeding the upper limit of the heart rate
(2 signal tones)
Alarm sounds only when falling below the lower limit of the heart rate
(1 signal tone)
Alarm sounds when exceeding the upper limit of the heart rate or falling below
the lower limit of the heart rate
Press the SET button to confirm your selection
The maximum heart rate (MHR) will flash
Press the SEL button to choose the MHR value
(between 80 and 240) or leave the default value
automatically calculated from your birth date
Press the SET button to confirm your selection
The training zone will flash (only in Pro User Level)
Press the SEL button to select zone 1,2,3 or the user-defined training zone (U).
