drive

 

chain

 

should

 

be

 

lubricated

 

approximately

 

every

 

500

 

miles

 

or

 

more

 

often

 

if

 

riding

 

in

 

rainy

 

or

 

dusty

 

conditions.

   

Use

 

only

 

a

 

quality

 

wax

‐

based

 

or

 

petroleum

 

based

 

motorcycle

 

chain

 

lubricant.

  

Ride

 

the

 

motorcycle

 

for

 

at

 

least

 

15

 

minutes

 

to

 

warm

 

the

 

chain,

 

and

 

apply

 

the

 

lubricant

 

immediately

 

after

 

stopping.
