The Self Key

controls are adjusted to give the best result.

In the picture below with a different BG and key signal,

Matte

is selected as the

FG key fill in the FG/BG Source & Matte menu.

External Key

The

External Key

input can be used as a linear key to cut a hole into the BG

signal. Logos often have two separately generated components – a key and a fill.

To create the picture below, the model in front of the green backdrop is the BG

signal, the logo key signal is fed to the External Key input and the logo fill signal

to the FG input:
