19 - PORT IGNITION
Volvo with Volvo Control System – Keys are
at the helm. See the Volvo owner’s manual
for more information. The port ignition switch
or the start switch is for the port engine. The
switch is three position but with no stop
feature. Its positions are: OFF, RUN and
START. There is no accessory position.
Each switch is electrically protected by a
resettable circuit breaker located in the dash
breaker panel.
20 - STARBOARD IGNITION

for more information. The starboard ignition
switch or the start switch is for the starboard
engine. The switch is three position but with
no stop feature. Its positions are: OFF, RUN
and START. There is no accessory position.

21 - 12 VOLT ACCESSORY
This switch is a toggle action switch that
controls the accessory designated to this
switch. When the switch is pressed, the
accessory power will turn ON. When the
opposite end is pressed, the accessory
power will turn OFF.
22 - ACCESSORY/DEPTH
This switch is a toggle action switch that
controls the accessory designated to this
switch or the depth finder. When the switch
is pressed, the accessory, or depth finder
power will turn ON. When the opposite end
is pressed, the accessory, or depth finder
power will turn OFF.
23 - BATTERY PARALLEL
This is a momentary function that controls
the battery parallel solenoid. When this
button is pressed, the battery parallel
solenoid is energized, connecting the two
cranking batteries in parallel. When it is
released, the solenoid is de-energized. This
function should be used only when one of
the cranking batteries is not charged
sufficiently to start the corresponding
engine.
24 - THROTTLE CONTROLS
The port lever on the control is for the port
engine and the starboard lever on the control
is for the starboard engine. Pull the levers
their full travel toward you for engine idle,
and gradually increase the speed to full
throttle by pushing the levers away from you.
25 - TRIM TAB CONTROLS
IMPORTANT
Push the trim tab rocker switches in
half second bursts. Holding the
rockers down too long will over trim
the yacht.
The trim tab rocker switches are used to
correct the trim of your yacht while you are
underway.
• To trim the bow of your yacht down, push
the top halves of both switches.
• To trim the bow of your yacht up, push the
bottom halves of both switches.
