Excessive vibration (continued) Worn strut, engine or transmission
bearings.
Engine-to-shaft couplings out-of-
round or off center.
Replace bearings. See Cruisers Yachts Dealer for service.
Check couplings. See Cruisers Yachts Dealer for service.
Poor performance Yacht is overloaded or weight is
badly distributed.
Material wrapped around the
propeller.
Damaged or using wrong propeller.
Yacht hull has marine growth on it or
hull is damaged.
Excessive water in bilge.
Engine is misaligned.
Reduce overload or distribute load evenly. Trimming the yacht will
also help.
Run propeller in REVERSE or cut and pull material from the
propeller.
Inspect propeller; replace as necessary. See Section 8 .
Clean or repair hull as necessary. See Section 8.
Pump water out and inspect hull for leaks.
Align engine. See Cruisers Yachts Dealer for service.
