LPT-M - Operation Manual
The factory default calibration gas concentration is:
SENSOR GAS TYPE

Either use a cylinder of 20.9% Oxygen or if you are confi dent of the air quality, the oxygen in the
breathing environment can be used as a fairly accurate source of span gas (be careful not to exhale
in the direction of the Oxygen sensor vent). It is not recommended to use this procedure for all span
adjustments of Oxygen sensors.
If using a cylinder, attach the regulator to the cylinder of Oxygen and insert calibration adapter into
the sensor opening on the front of the enclosure door (see Section
7.3.1 Calibration Adapter Plug
if
the adapter will not fi t). Once gas is detected, display will show a countdown from 180 seconds (3
minutes).
NOTE
: If an inappropriate concentration of span gas is applied during calibration, calibration may
succeed but it does not mean the equipment has been calibrated properly. CETCI is not responsible
for improperly calibrated transmitters. Follow manual instructions carefully.
When the process has fi nished and the Span calibration was accepted, remove the cylinder of span
gas. Refer to Section
7.3.4 Span - Requires Override
if the Span calibration was not successful.
NOTE:
After 5 minutes of inactivity, the display will return to the normal operation.
