
Enable Bluetooth
To enable Bluetooth
From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps and tap Settings.
Tap Connected devices> Connection preferences > Bluetooth.
Slide the Bluetooth switch to the On position.
You can also access Bluetooth from Quick Settings panel. Slide the Status bar down twice.
To disable Bluetooth, slide the Bluetooth switch to the Off position.
Note: Turning on Airplane Mode disables all network features including calling, messaging, mobile data, Wi-Fi, and
Bluetooth. To continue to use Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, turn them on in Settings or in the notification panel.
Tip: Turn off Bluetooth when not in use to conserve battery power.
Pair Bluetooth devices
To pair Bluetooth devices
From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps and tap Settings.
Tap Connected devices> Pair new device.
Nearby devices will appear under Available devices.
If a target device is not detected, ensure that the device is powered on and is discoverable, then tap Refresh to search
again.
Tap a device under Available devices and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with the device.
Methods to accept a Bluetooth connection differ depending on the devices being used.
To forget a paired device
From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps and tap Settings.
Tap Connected devices.
Tap Settings next to the device you wish to forget.
Tap FORGET > FORGET DEVICE.
The device will be unpaired from your phone. To reconnect with the device, you will need to pair again.
Connect to a paired Bluetooth device
From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps and tap Settings.
Tap Connected devices.
Tap a paired device to connect.
When the device is connected to your phone, the Bluetooth Paired icon will be displayed in the Status bar. You can then
use the headset or car kit to listen to music or make and receive phone calls.
Note: Noise may be experienced with wireless calls and hands-free calls. Due to different specifications and features of
other Bluetooth-compatible devices, display and operations may be different, and functions such as transfer or exchange
may not be possible with all Bluetooth-compatible devices.
