Enter the auto-logout time (in minutes) in the Auto-Logout Time(1~1000min) 

field. 

 

Click Confirm to accept the change. 

Phone Lock 

If the system administrator sets the policy “ucEnforcePinLock” = true on the Skype for 

Business Fronted Server, the user can use the phone lock feature to lock the phone to 

prevent unauthorized use. The phone will prompt the user to configure a n-digit lock PIN 

at the initial sign-in. 

Phone lock can be configured using the configuration files or locally. 

Configuration Methods 

Central Provisioning 

(Configuration File)

Configures the phone lock feature. 
Parameter: 

phone_setting.phone_lock.enable 
Configures the time (in minutes) the phone 

is idle before it automatically locks. 
Parameter:

sfb.phone_lock.max_attempts 
Configures the phone to be locked and 

unlocked automatically along with the 

paired PC.

out when a user does not enter the lock Pin 

within 5 minutes.
