ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 8 — Angle Braces:

Fasten an Angle Brace (B) to each end of both platform sides

using four 5/16 x 2-1/2" hex bolt assemblies. Do not tighten yet.

Fasten each angle brace so the angled end is flat against the

nearest corner post.
Fasten an Angle Brace (B) to each end of the platform ends using

four 5/16 x 2-1/2" hex bolt assemblies. Do not tighten yet. Align

each angle brace so the angled end is flat against the nearest

corner post.

STEP 9 — Angle Braces (continued):

Double check the posts are still plumb.
Tighten all connections except the angle braces. Do not over

tighten.
Position all Angle Braces (B) with the angled ends flat against

the corner posts nearest to them. With a pencil, mark the posi-

tion where the holes in the braces rest against the corner posts.

At each mark drill a 3/16" diameter pilot hole 2" deep into the

posts. Fasten the angle braces to the adjacent posts using one

5/16 x 3" lag screw and flat washer each.
Note: The Stringers have been omitted from the illustration for

clarity.

STEP 10 — Narrow Platform Boards:

Place two Narrow Platform Boards (I) tightly against the platform

ends on top of the stringers. Fasten the narrow platform boards

to the stringers with six #10 x 2" screws on each board.
