9. Light Kit Assembly.

Remove 3 screws from switch housing plate.
Connect male plug from fan to female plug
from light kit fitter, matching up the colors on
the male plug with the colors on the female
plug for correct fit. Be sure that the plugs
connect completely.
Align holes in switch housing (at top of light
kit fitter) with holes in switch housing plate.
Re-insert screws that were just removed and
securely tighten all 3 screws with a Phillips
screwdriver.
Install two 40 watt max. candelabra base
bulbs (included with CIU52xxx5); or two
9 watt compact flourescent GU24 bulbs
(included with CIU52xxx5A).
Important
: When replacing bulbs, please
allow bulb(s) and glass shade to cool down
before touching them.
Align grooves on glass shade with nodules on
inside of light kit fitter and push up gently on
glass shade. Twist glass shade to the RIGHT
(clockwise) until glass shade locks into place.
Pull down VERY GENTLY on glass shade to make
sure that glass shade is secure.
