The basic hopper has a capacity of 1,500 litres, which can be in ‐
creased to 3,200 litres by simply fitting the high sides, at any time.
Inside the hopper, near the openings, are two special ultra ‐ slow
rotating mixers, which optimise product feed to the discs and pre ‐
vent the fertilizer from being pulverised.
The mixer delivers the product to the spreader discs, from where it
is released by the distributor blades due to centrifugal force.
Opening and closing of the shutters is controlled by hydraulic pi ‐
stons: both outlets can be controlled together, or alternatively the
right or left outlet alone, for spreading across half the width.
The quantity spread depends on spreader disc rotation speed,
spread radius, and fertilizer quality and moisture content.
The quantity of fertilizer is metered manually using
adjustable shutters, or managed by an electronic
controller (programmable electronic console
- OPTIONAL
),
which guarantees maximum
precision
even
when
using
super ‐ concentrated products.
The CX fertilizer spreaders can be used for normal spreading,
late spreading (essential when needing to fertilize where the crops
are very high) and boundary spreading.
The spreading charts supplied with the machine allow the opera ‐
tor to adjust working width and product flow ‐ rate so as to achieve
spread widths up to 36 m.
