Problem

Cause

Solution

The droplets are not

centered in the well plate.

Wrong well plate

vendor selected.

In the Surface tab, select the corresponding well

plate vendor for the most accurate positioning in

all wells.

Automatic calibration

is off-center.

Change to manual calibration to adjust the X, Y, and

Z set point exactly as desired.

The error “Connection to

the printer timed out” in

Corning® DNA Studio.

Connection to the

printer has been

broken.

Make sure the USB cable is connected to the device and the computer.

Corning Matribot®

Bioprinter SD card

mode is enabled.

Disable printing from SD card mode in the utilities tab in the Corning Matribot Bioprinter’s

LCD interface.

The Bioprint is not showing

up in the menu of the LCD

interface.

SD card is not

properly inserted.

Verify that the SD card is properly inserted in the SD card reader.

Corning Matribot
