DIGITAL INPUTS [IN3~6]
These inputs have all the programmable functions of the GP inputs plus these additional functions on [IN8] & [IN9] which can be configured as single-
ended or differential:
• PWM 50%, PWM & Direction for Velocity or Current modes
• Pulse/Direction, CU/CD, or A/B Quad encoder inputs for Position or Camming modes

Inputs [IN1~2] are 24V tolerant
These are high-speed types with pull-up resistors to +5 Vdc and 1 µs RC filters when driven by
active sources. The active level is programmable on each input. Input [IN1] is dedicated to the
drive enable function. The remaining inputs [IN2~IN14] have programmable functions.

PLC outputs are frequently current-sourcing from 24V for driving grounded loads. PC based digital controllers
commonly use NPN or current-sinking outputs. Set the Xenus inputs to pull-down to ground for current-sourcing
connections, and to pull-up to 5V for current-sinking connections.
