10. Binocular functions
• Use the focus wheel (9) at the top of the binoculars to set the focus.
• The rubber caps of the oculars (10) can be folded off for spectacle wearers.
• The eye distance is set by moving the two halves of the binoculars. Adjust them so that you
only have one circular field of vision when looking through the two oculars.
• One of the oculars can be adjusted to varying dioptres (see "+" and "-" on the rubber cap).
For this purpose, proceed as follows:
Close your right eye and focus on an object at a distance (at least 5 m). Use the focus wheel
to adjust the binoculars to your left eye.
Open your right eye and close your left eye. Adjust the right ocular so that the object is
focussed properly for your right eye. Open your left eye again. The adjustment is done.
