• Use a at least 1“ (inner diameter) suction line to supply the Conel Flow Rain-Champion with rainwa-
ter.
• The suction line should be laid as straight as possible and steadily rising up tor Conel Flow Rain-
Champion (reduces flow resistances and air inclusions) !
• Note the relationship between suction line length and suction height (see also Figure 8.4.2);
• When laying the suction line, impurities in the inner tube can occur in some cases. For this reason, it
must be rinsed before the suction line
is
connected to prevent unnecessary contamination that can
lead to damage to the Conel Flow Rain-Champion;
• Connect the suction line to the suction connection 1“ AG of the Conel Flow Rain-Champion in a pro-
fessional manner
(see Figure 8.4.1)
: A return hindrance (check valve)
must be
installed on the suction
line on the side of the construction
NOTE:
• The suction line must be laid as straight as possible up to the device and stea-
dily increasing (reduces flow resistances and air inclusions) !
• The suction line must be felt before connecting to the Conel Flow Rain-
Champion ;
• A return hindrance
must be
installed on the suction line on the side of the
building.
