The Conel Flow Rain-Champion is a compact ready-to-connect rainwater system controller for water
supply with rain water from a storage tank or meets the requirements with drinking water from the
in-house drinking water network according to [EN DIN 1717] for the protection of the drinking water
installation against „re-germination, re-flowing and mixing by germinated water with a safety device of
type AB of liquid category 5.
This makes the Conel Flow Rain-Champion ideal for water supply with operating water from toilet flus -
hes, washing machines, above/underground irrigation, ponds, fountains or process water.
The supply of rainwater to the Conel Flow Rain-Champion takes place depending on the water level
in the associated storage. If the water level in tank is lowered, a demand-oriented after-supply with
drinking water from the in-house drinking water network is automatically carried out. This switch to
drinking water operation is carried out via a motor-driven switching valve (zone valve), which is con-
trolled via level sensor in the tank. As soon as drinking water is required, this is fed via a mechanically
proportionally controlled float valve in the feed-in tank of the Conel Flow Rain-Champion with a free
outlet according to [DIN EN 13077] type AB, after-fed (no automatic water exchange in the feed tank).
If water (e.B. toilet flushing) is requested by the user, the pump switching machine switches off the
centrifugal pump depending on the pressure and flow and thus ensures the supply of water (rain/ or
drinking water).
A shock absorber integrated in the pump switching machine reduces line pressure peaks and thus
