1.4.2.3 Special applications
NOTE:
Please contact the manufacturer or customer service in the following cases (you
will find information on this in chapter 1.4 Service address) if,
• the viscosity or density of the liquid to be pumped, which is higher than that of
water (a motor with a proportionally higher power must be used here);
• the liquid has been chemically treated (softened, chlorinated, demineralised,
etc.);
• Any situation occurs that deviates from the uses listed in chapter 1.5.2 „Inten-
ded use“.
1.4.2.4 Interfaces
Human - Conel Flow Rain-
Champion: • All work on the Conel Flow Rain-Champion can only be carried
out by skilled and competent personnel who have been infor-
med by carefully studying the operating instructions.
Electrical energy supply- Conel
Flow Rain-Champion: • 230V/50Hz Infeed on the building side - through mains cable
with protective contact plug (Conel Flow Rain-Champion side);
• Provide residual current circuit breakers with a tripping current
of ≤ 30 mA (milliamps);
• Provide a suitable circuit breaker on the building side;
• Provide suitable overvoltage protection on the building side;
Supply - Conel Flow Rain-
Champion • Provide suitable dimensioned pipe diameters for the drinking
water supply, the suction pipe for the rainwater supply and
the pressure pipe for the supply of the tapping points on the
building side;
• Provide a maximum of 4 bar pre-pressure of the drinking
water supply line on the building side (use pressure reducer if
necessary);
• Conel Flow Rain-Champion must be continuously supplied with
sufficient water during operation - risk of dry running;
• Water temperature: (frost-free)> up to + 40 ° C;
• Density 1Kg / dm

1.4.2.5 Time limits
Switch-on frequency: • A maximum of 20 evenly distributed starts and stops, per hour
with a 60-second switch-on / switch-off time. Frequent swit-
ching intervals can damage the Conel Flow Rain-Champion.
Operating mode: • The Conel Flow Rain-Champion is suitable for continuous
operation.
