SIMATIC iMap Variables

The SIMATIC iMap variables for the DeviceMaster UP are contained in a PROFINET CbA component. When
you insert the PROFINET CbA component into a project (see

4.3. Inserting the PROFINET CbA Component

into a SIMATIC iMap Project

on Page 33), you can view the SIMATIC iMap variables associated with the

device through the

Plant

view in SIMATIC iMap. The DeviceMaster UP presents the SIMATIC iMap

variables provided in the following SIMATIC iMap variable tables. These variables use the following
semantics:

•

SEND

– refers to sending serial data

•

RECV

– refers to receiving serial data
