6.2.1.13.6 CONFIG: IP



AccessList

Use this menu to restore SNMP/HTTP access if your own IP Address is inadvertently

excluded from the Host Access List while configuring the list through either the

SNMP or Web Server (HTTP) interface.

The Host Access List allows you to define which remote clients can connect when the Access List

is enabled. Each entry allows a user to specify an IP address and a subnet mask to define a

unique class of machines that are allowed access.

Once you define and enable an access list via SNMP or the CDM-625A Web Server interface

maintain

the active Host Access List, or

disable

the list. Press

ENTER

Once you disable the list, this message appears whenever you select the

CONFIG: IP



AccessList

When you

disable

the IP Packet Processor, the card and its accompanying functionality is

completely bypassed and the modem reverts to its base modem Layer 2 switch

functionality.

The modem will automatically reboot after this configuration change
