If you plan to use both STAC hybrids (more than one call at a time) then
you will need to provide a mix-minus with both callers removed. See if
your module can be configured to remove more than one of the incom-
ing fader signals from the mix-minus port. If this is possible, remove both
caller audio channels and treat it like a
Telephone Bus
as in option A.
If your module only subtracts one signal from the mix-minus, you can use
a single fader for both caller outputs. Do this by using the
Aux Out
out-
put rather than the individual caller outputs on the mainframe. Make sure
DIP Switch 3
on the mainframe is in the
OFF
position so that your
Send
Audio
is not included in this mix. Then run this output to your single
fader channel, and use the mix-minus (generated by the fader module) as
your “send” input to the STAC mainframe. This is shown in Figure 3.
