Functional only after control surface association. Routes a call to the se-
lected control surface handset.
Allows a call to be put in
On Hold
status. Pressing this button on a line that
is already
On Hold
will change the line to
Screened Hold
status.
Places a call on one of the internal hybrids so it can be sent to air. Pressing
this button after a call is
On Air
will lock the call onto the hybrid and allow
conferencing. Calls will be placed onto the internal hybrids in the follow-
ing order:
First call: Hybrid 1
Second call: Hybrid 2
Third call: Hybrid 2
Fourth call: Hybrid 1
Up to two calls can be assigned to each of the internal hybrids. Note that if
lines are not
Locked
, previous
On Air
lines are disconnected when a new
one is chosen. If no lines are locked, all calls are routed to Hybrid 1.
Note: The
On Air
buttons are visible, but disabled, if the STAC IP session is
set for Screener or associated with a screener control surface.
Disconnects selected line from the system.
Allows text “chat” between all users of the system. Text entered into the en-
try field will be sent to all users when the
Send
button is pressed (or when
the
Enter
key on the keyboard is pressed).
When a line is selected in any way (
Answered
, put
On Hold
, or
On Air
),
the data entry field for that line is activated, and the user is prompted to
fill in the relevant information for the caller. Data appears in real time to
all those viewing the STAC IP. Pull-down menus are available to select the
gender of a caller and to associate the caller with a mood via the available
“emoticons”. The data entry field for a particular line may also be selected
by clicking on the text display for that line or by using the keyboard
