CAUTION: Each processor must have an associated PPM installed.
IMPORTANT: If two processors are used with different speeds, install the faster one in
slot 1 and install the slower one in slot 3. Set SW2 and SW3 accordingly.
14. Install the processor:
a. Pushing the processor into the slot until it is firmly until seated .
b. Secure the processor by rotating the ejector levers inward .
c. When the ejectors are seated, complete the installation by tightening
the retention screw finger-tight.

15. Reconnect the power cords to the server.
16. Verify that the interlock LEDs are normal. See Appendix D, “LED
Indicators.”
17. Replace the top access panel.
