How to keep cooked rice warm and tasty?
•
Keeping cooked rice warm or using the ‘Keep Warm’ function for more than 5 hours may cause
discolouration or generate an objectionable odour. The sooner rice is served, the better it will taste.
•
There is a minimum quantity of rice to keep warm. When using the keep warm cycle, be sure you have at
least 4 bowls full or 6 bowls full of cooked rice in the pan.
•
To prevent a dry, discoloured effect and objectionable odour of the cooked rice, keep the outer lid perfectly
closed after serving rice.
•
Do not leave the rice scoop or other utensils in the pan during the keep warm cycle.
•
Do not use the keep warm feature to reheat leftover cold rice.

Precautions
•
The appliance does not function if the pan is not in the
cooker.
•
Always keep the bottom of the pan clean and dry. Any
residues between the bottom of the pan and the heater
will cause the cooker to malfunction.
•
Do not attempt to press the switch by force if the switch
button cannot be pressed in the cooking position. The
switch normally remains in that position when the pan is
not in the cooker or just after cooking has been
completed.
•
The appliance should be placed on a stable surface. Do not
expose to water, steam or direct heat.
•
Do not cover the lid with anything when the rice cooker is
in use.
•
Do not use the pan directly on open fire.
•
Do not immerse the cooker in water and avoid putting the
cooker near fire.
