7.2 APPENDIX B: REPEATER’S INTERFERENCE TO BTS
The interference to BTS from master-unit must be minimized for the required coverage; uplink noise
output of the master-unit will give rise to the noise level at the BTS port.
The noise gain induced by the equipment at the BTS port has the following relationship:

Whilst keeping the parameters constant, such as

BTS coverage will reduce to give and the repeater extended coverage.
