2.1 GENERAL
The RF-9122 GSM900-GSM1800 Frequency Shifting Repeater consists of Direct Coupling Master
Unit, wireless coupling master unit and remote units (IC/EC). Each is implemented around the
common RF-9122 GSM900-GSM1800 Frequency Shifting Repeater that comprises of the following:
Uplink/Downlink Frequency Selective Module
selects the required channel frequency and
translates it to corresponding frequency.
UL/DL Power Amplifier Module
with ALC function is used to amplify the UL/DL signal.
LNA (Low Noise Amplifier)
with adjustable gain
is used to pre-amplify the signal. Its UL/DL ATT
value matches the gain of the corresponding UL/DL LNA.
Duplexers (DPX)
of the same specifications are used in BS and MS circuits that combine or divide
the uplink and downlink signals.
Main Control Unit (MCU)
is used to control and monitor the operation parameters of the repeater
and provides telecommunication interface for remote control.
Power Supply Unit (PSU)
converts the input 220VAC into stable DC to supply power to FSA, MCU
and to charge the internal Li-ion battery. (-48VDC and +24VDC power supply are available as
installed options)
Li-ion Battery
will supply power to MCU for up to three hours in the event of mains failure.
